LOL, well now that we have that cleared up. Any word of a universal skype app for the ANDROID (just for you WarChild lol) platform?

I mainly want it for good quality conference calls, not to mention i have the $3 a month plan. And I guess I would use the front facing cam for video calls just because its there.

LMAO I think that its "in the works" for the EVO but they dont have one as of yet. THIS is what is available for Androids from their website.

Re: Apps for the Evo?

This may be one of the surprises Sprint said they would have for the phone.

Hopefully they are at least working on a Evo specific skype app that takes advantage of the 4g and front facing cam. This may be asking a lot but also being power efficient. Skype just running in the background of my TP2 causes it to run hot and drain the battery. At times the older versions would slow down my laptops and force me to put them on the fan when in a video call.

For some humor, I like urban dictionary. Ebay and Amazon apps work well, too. I've never used the app, but I downloaded Bump, so if I find someone else with an Android/iPhone who has bump, we can transfer contact info, by bumping our phones. Astro File manager is very useful.

I may download Mint, which is kind of like Microsoft Money. It tracks your bank account, and you can see how your income compares to your expenses.
Since Microsoft Money is non existent in Android, I search for something comparable and I found a good application called anMoney. Its a good alternative to MS Money. Only bad thing is that you can't sync with current MS Money on your pc.

Re: Apps for the Evo?

For anyone that wants a solution for Skype on the EVO check out Fring, you can setup your skype account with it... I have tried it a few times using my skype out number and it works great.

Re: Apps for the Evo?

I am loving this phone so much. I tried Fring the other night. I got Handscent SMS which is cool. I did get Google Shopper and Bar Code Scanner and I got 4 square too but don't really know how to use it. My cousin has it on her iphone and I see her little check in places on facebook. I also got yelp and where which I think does check in places too. I got a few games and I got the movie flickster app shows all trailors. I got the Sirius app and a few more. This is the coolest phone ever. I have more apps to get and I am not even done configuring my 7 screens yet or any of the scenes. I haven't tried Layar yet and I got a cute aquarium live wallpaper. I got shot shop savvy too and my shopping list I like Grocery IQ is great but it doesn't list Kroger yet. But I love being able to speak or scan my list and then I check it off when I get to store. I love hearing about all the cool apps people are getting. My local news channel had an app which I thought was cool. I got one called tv.com that my friend got. Havne't messed with it yet. My friend is looking for an app so he can watch FOX NEWS actual video not reading it.. He doesn't want to pay extra for Sprint TV but he didn't know if he could get it somewhere else.
