Sprint Premier Contest: Win a free EVO, a blog, and best blogger gets $4,000
Yep. Official Sprint Premier contest going. 10 lucky a-holes will get this phone before anyone else and will have to blog their experience with it with a Sprint-given trip to a 4G hosted destination. The winning blogger also gets a $4,000 cash prize. Awesome!

Yeah, I entered that today just for giggles. The deadline is May 9th so hopefully Sprint plans on releasing the Evo fairly soon after that.
This is from the contest rules: "Sponsor and Contest Administrator will select five (5) Semi-Finalists from a Sprint 3G City and five (5) Semi-Finalists from a Sprint 4G city." It seems like if you live in a 4G area you have a higher chance of winning since there's not near as many of you. I have to compete with all the 3G folks. MAy 18th is the day they will announce the winners. on or around that date I would think they will be getting the phone.

What can you do really fast essay? Must be at least 150 words, and factual. Heres how they will judge:
Creativity - 40% Originality - 20% Humor - 20% Overall Entertainment Value of Submission - 20% You also have to be a Sprint Premier customer as of 4/21/10 Good Luck.

I entered and was half asleep when I wrote the little essay. I figured it worked for my thesis why not for a contest.
