Re: Anyone have an idea on the price for the Evo 4G?

Uhm, brace yourself. Is this for real?? $899.99 for the Evo?? http://www.popularelect.com/product_...oducts_id=1759

Obviously that's with zero rebates, discounts, or upgrade bonuses, but man!

Oh and regarding the fact that Android is cheaper because of open source, well those days may be gone now that HTC is paying M$ licensing fees for Android. Crazy right?

Come on, you know damn well that it wont be that price. They just trying to cash in on the hype by charging so much being that it will probably sell out in a day or so when its released.

Actually, that link was found a few weeks ago. ajac posted it, from what I remember, so I think it's just a bs website trying to bait people into thinking it's real.

But really? I mean who goes to that site and says, "Yes, please take my nine hundred bucks and let me know if you get any in stock..."

Sprint lets you roam free on Verizon's network.

So on Sprint, you have the Sprint network, which is already many times larger than T-Mobile's, plus you have free roaming coverage basically anywhere else in the nation.

With T-Mobile, you just have T-Mobile's small network.

thats why he said if tmobile works where you need it then youre good to go. All metro areas tmobile will do fine, rural areas tmobile is lacking. Anybody who lives and works in a metro area definitely needs to consider tmobile.
