One thing I can predict right now is..............Windows Mobile isn't going anywhere anytime soon! With WP7S and all the development they are putting into the OS, I wouldn't be surprised if thats the top contender with Android!

i think he meant wm 6.5 and earlier since they are called "windows mobile" unlike the new one coming that they renamed it "windows phone 7 series" for it to not be linked to the bad rep windows mobile gave microsoft's mobile platform

I think you are confused with the terminology. Windows Mobile is different than Windows 7 Phone Series....

Windows Mobile refers to the current OS for mobile phones from Microsoft. The new Windows Phone 7 Series is a totally new and a total break from the old Windows Mobile. It's a bit confusing but hopefully that clears things up for you.

Re: Apple to ITC Stop all HTC Sales

M$ Terminology:

Windows Phone 7 Series = completely news OS that aims to be like the iPhone

Windows Phone Classic = our current Windows Mobile 6.5

Our Terminology:
On these forums we refer to what we have now Window Mobile, Winmo, WM

and Windows Phone 7, WP7, WP7S for the new OS

Hope that clears things up

Actually Microsoft just dropped the word "Series" from Windows Phone 7.

Re: Apple to ITC Stop all HTC Sales

I am a pretty neutral person. I like the iPhone a lot but I also like my TP2 and soon the EVO. Im a mac user and Ill never go back when it comes to my computers but when it comes to mobile its what I can get the most use out of that isnt a popularity device like the iPhone has become. I agree apple can be a pain in the ass unfortunately and I really hope HTC sales arnt stopped because since there is no CDMA iPhone.... I aint gettin an iPhone
