I'm more worried about the lack of a physical keyboard. That's why I went from the Diamond to the TP...that and the sd card slot. Then again, when my keyboard broke for the 3rd time I used the phone for a month or so without a keyboard until I got around to getting Sprint replace it. You get used to the OSK and the Evo has a larger screen so it should be better.
Funny... Like you and the poster before this one, this will also be my first android device as well. My two things were exchange and no keyboard. I have always stuck with winmo b/c of the physical keyboard and exchange support. But Moxier Mail resolves my exchange issue and now no touch keyboard remains to be tested. lol I'm worried, but depending on the price point, I'm IN!

It is a HTC-specific program, but the mail program gives me two options:

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
Other (POP3/IMAP)

I don't connect to my work email on my personal phone, but the exchange option asks for your email address, and password. From there, you can do either a manual setup, or "Next", to go through their wizard.

If you were to get a Sense driven phone, you would have the same program.

no, the tp2 does NOT have a "glass screen" in the sense that he is talking about my man - i should know because i literally pealed off the screen when trying to take off my screen protector. it is a bendable peice of crap; it is NOT like the iphone. hopefully, the evo won't be like that

I really hope this evo rocks my world, who am I kidding, I know it will.
Trust me, I've been there. I've been on Windows Mobile for years and as I've watched it die I've been eyeing Android. When they released the gimped POS that is WP7 I knew I had to go Android. The only problem I had is that I didn't want to wait till summer. So I jumped to the best Sprint Android phone I could find (Moment) for now. When the Evo comes out my wife will get it and we will swap.

Having used the Moment for two weeks or so now I can say that I am very satisfied with Android and love that I have a phone that actually works and does stuff without requiring some kind of weird ritual just to get it to switch from one text message conversation to another. For us geeks, Android is indeed the way to go.

and how do you know the 13th?> unless you got some proof to show us dont bother saying a date. and more hten just a link to a website an offical sprint fliar saying it. The rumors are getting out of hand. I think as of now I've heard every date between april 16th and june 13th. I have a contact at sprint HQ that told me as of right now its june 6th but hell she cant even show me anything so I am not 100% believing her ( though she was right about the pre last year hmm)

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=evo+4g+release

It's just a sprint insider who was told by higher-ups, but still, a simple google search can yield all the answers you seek.
