Yeah, for most phones. However the Pre was launched for premier customers on a Friday, then for everyone else on a Saturday.

It's almost 100% the Evo will launch the same way.

pre wasnt released early for anyone. saturday for everyone but sprint does big releases on fridays and saturdsys so main reason I am thinking the 5th and 22nd.

Looks like Sprint followed Verizon's lead and nixed the N1 to concentrate on marketing the EVO!
