30fps is what standard TV FPS is...iPhone doesn't do 60fps either. For interface you will not notice a difference between 30fps of 60fps mostly on such a small screen..the only time it may be noticeable is if you use the HDMI out on a bigger screen.

But as I said thats 30 FPS for 720p..but the phone resolution is half that..so if it does not have to resize and is in native resolution 60fps is possible I guess.
