cuz the defualt icons on android are TERRIBLE, every dev uses different style of course. they arent even similar, let alone uniform, looks like a tacky pieced together mess

right now, most of the app icons look outdated on the EVO. I, too, would love to change an icon or two...but I would LOVE to have a custom taskbar first (translucent or transparent; custom taskbar icons)

i would also point you towards xda for icons, there are literally tons of icons, most of them in huge packs. I've used some Iphone style ones for my TP2 as well as GTX style icons, now i use GTX icons for the stuff in my dock in launcher pro, clean and simple.

Icons don't make a phone, the phone itself makes it what it is.
