I was seeing that some people are able to get the iPhone icons... was wondering how i go about getting those myself. Didn't read anywhere that said how to get those icons.

Why would u want iphone icon for your evo? It seems to me that u want an iphone

no just want to show my friend that i could have a look alike cause hes an iphone fan... plus i think it looks a little cleaner with those icons.

Umm , thats a no no. iphone icons are soooooooooo simple looking. Your friend is just jealous that he's an apple fanboy that can't get his iphone to look like the Android, thats why he wants you to join him. =D>

I use "Folders Organizer" to change icons. You can download a free version from the market and you can find iphone icon sets on XDA. Move the icon set to your SD card.

1. open folder organizer
2. Select apps
3. Find the app that you want to change the icon for
4.Click the arrow on the right side of the listed app
5. Select the icon tab
6. Select Image Gallery and hit OK
7. Select the icon folder that you previously downloaded
8. Select the icon you want to use for the app
9. Press and hold the desired area of the home screen
10. Select Shortcut> Then Select FolderOrganizer item> Then Select Apps> Then
Select the app that's icon you just changed

At this point there should be a app shortcut with the new icon on your homescreen.
This method only changes the program icons on your home screen and icons in the Folder Organizer program. Its the best method currently available, that i know of.

what is wrong with simple looking? i think its tasteful and all the other crap most of yall put on yalls screens all cluttered up looks like sh!t with icons that are inconsistent, to put it nicely. But i never say anything (except this 1 time)

bottom line, its his phone, let that man do whatever he wants.

anyways what I use is bettercut, to change icons. They have icon packs in the market or you can use any png's. I recommend browsing here

once you have a pack or have extracted icons to your sd card, use bettercut to edit your homescreen shortcuts. heres the tricky part...

DO ALL YOUR SHORTCUT CREATING FROM THE DEFAULT ANDROID LAUNCHER (not Sense, or any other) (You can easily switch between launchers by downloading Home Switcher, in the market, when switching the default launcher is simply called "Launcher")


after that should be self explanatory, Edit shortcuts> pick picture (or use icon pack), gallery will pop up, then select your icon. Edited icons will usually appear twice on launcher other than the default (one old icon, one new), just delete the undesired ones

When u use Launcher Pro, u can mainly use icons only

Personally, I Love Everything Apple Including The iPhone. But When It Comes To Phones That I Use For My Personal Self, I Go With HTC Android Phones! I See That They Are Made More For The User And NOT FOR THE COMPANY WHO MADE THEM.

The Only Thing I Dislike Of This Forum Is People Bagging On Apple. For What??? Buy Yourself A iMac Give It A Week And See How Much You Will Hate Using A PC. Trust Me, 2 Years Ago I Hated OS X While At The Same Time I Never Had Used It.

why give iphone users the satisfaction of you owning a better phone but still wanting to emulate them in some fashion...sickening!! Imm sure youll remove it in no time but it is your phone i just feel sick right now Evo and I are leaving...

there is NOTHING wrong with those iCons...had them on my TP2 for the longest time. Even with GTX...the grey "metro" icon had that clean look.

right now, most of the app icons look outdated on the EVO. I, too, would love to change an icon or two...but I would LOVE to have a custom taskbar first (translucent or transparent; custom taskbar icons)
