I thought this was impossible on CDMA unless using a different radio like wimax, lte or wifi. How is sprint able to do this?

I read a couple years ago, the group behind CDMA made some changes to the radio transmission. If I recall, it required changes by carriers to their towers.

Didn't think it would ever happen.

@basilray if it requires carriers to make changes to towers I assume its something that will not be available in all areas. I've been looking for videos on youtube... I haven't found any. Could this be EVDO Rev. B?
