Locked Bootloader

Does anyone know if the HTC Evo 4G LTE will have locked bootloader like then HTC One X? This is a real decision maker for me.

i pretty sure it does all of them will you will have to use HTCdev till someone cracks it

hes talking about the at&t one x not even being able to use the htc dev site. bottom line is we don't know yet, if it is i see a huge backlash coming. sprint isn't as hardcore as at&t is about locking down their devices.

question is....whether to unlock right away via htcdev & be able to mod/flash or wait for devs to unlock......I think I may wait a week or 2 to see what develops. The phone is going to be awesome stock anyways, plus a temp root will probably surface first, so we do do some playing...

i would wait till the crack happens that will also give you time to see how hot the device will be with the developers

yeah, I'll probably wait it out at least a few weeks....as far as the amount of devs, less would be better....have u seen the amount of ROMs @ XDA? lol

meh... everything gets hacked but could take alot of time for it to happen. it took the htc rezound over 6 months to get s-off. if you people are worried about the locked bootloader id wait until a dev gets ahold of one and tests the htc dev site first.
