yeah but it wasn't official until now. we had no clue what the plan was since the at&t variant cannot be unlocked at all.

Thanks to all the input.

Just to be clear, the link advising it can be rooted.... Is that the HTC root directly from HTC that voids your warranty? I never did or liked that.

If so, at least it's open and someone may come up with a dev root soon then.

I agree with OMJ, stock will be great, but for me, I also have several programs I use all the time that won't work unless rooted, as well as being able to back up and use Titanium will be a major bummer for me. I think I'm still gonna get it tho.
