It depends on the device.
EVO is 9.99 plus tax for mine.

About the same as Sprint but covers more and no deductible.

so the only difference that they have to send out for repair and for replacement?

Lately they send the phone off and don't even bother fixing it.
They do fix it but they send it to someone else.
What they do to save time is wait three days and send a replacement.
