Charger Talk: Who has the most heavy duty Micro-USB cable?

I got one offa ebay just a week ago, and it is flimsy china crap. I bought a belkin dual USB car charger and the HTC cable with the rectangular ends seem to always come apart with just average in car use.

So I am looking for something sleek that is strong... anyone have any recs?

Thanks!

Re: Who has the most heavy duty Micro-USB cable?

I bought 2 Belkin 6' cables at Fry's. They were only about $7/cable. I've had them since the phone came out (June 4th), and they get daily use. No issues.

The one I bought from the Sprint store works just fine for me.

Re: Who has the most heavy duty Micro-USB cable?

I just bought this:
Sprint HTC EVO 4G - Original AC Wall Travel Charger USB - eBay (item 290498569956 end time Dec-10-10 05:37:29 PST)
for $8.34 shipped.

It comes with the stock 1Ah charger. Seems like these new HTC cables are pretty stout. The cheap china one I bought you almost have to force it into the EVO and I dont think that is a good idea, so for 8and change looks like this is a good defacto back up rig for work.

Thing is HTC makes a really cool long coiled cord, but you have to buy their charger... the whole rig is like 23bux!

Too bad I cant find a nice low profile 1ah car charger with dual usb like the Belkin (which is only 500ma)

On the other hand, I am getting this as we speak!

The OEM charger is about the best I found so far... As far as a cable an OEM Blackberry cable is actually heavier than the HTC one.

it is GREAT! top half is 2.3ah and bottom is 1ah, mind you your charging is limited by the voltage regulator in the phone but at least the charger is no longer the limitation. The only thing I miss about the belkin is there was a curved led indicator for each port and it was all subtle and sexy (one led lit when only one port was plugged in.) The Ebay/Ipad charger has this B R I G H T blue led such that I had to mask with gaffers tape. That said it is very low pro, almost flush with the socket. Is a fast charger, and came with two usb to micro cables for 8.50 shipped from CA in three days. That is badass.

The OEM charger I bought was straight outa the box new.

Re: Charger Talk: Who has the most heavy duty Micro-USB cable?

I found that RND dual usb charger (2.3/1ah) charger on amazon for $10; Amazon.com: RND Power Solutions Dual USB car charger for Apple(iPad,iPhone,iPod,iTouch), Blackberry(Bold,Curve,Pearl,Storm,Torch), HTC(Aria,Desire,Evo,HD2,HD Mini,Hero,Incredible), LG(Neon,Prime,Sentio,Shine), Motorola(Droid(X,2),Cliq XT), Nokia(N,

I originally purchased the elago dual usb charger first but didn't realize that i only charges at 500mah.

OH wow, thats the same charger only the ebay one is 8.50 with two cables and free shipping. I suggest it, only it has that bright light you will have to black out.
