Your information is incorrect. I have tested (on the EVO and TP2) a Class 2 8gb Sandisk vs a Class 6 8gb Sandisk and the class 6 blew away the Class 2 hands down. File transfers were night and day different. ON A CELL PHONE!

I agree with Gunflight. No matter which way you look at it, the phone does not really have any speed control over the SD Cards. Its all in the card. Camera, Phones, CPU's, Class 6 will always out perform a Class 2.

This is why i'm soo torn. I can get a class 6 8gb on amazon for $20 or a class 6 16gb for $60. I just can't bring myself to buy another 8gb when I already have that but I figured the speed difference had to help anytime the phone needs to access the card for pictures, video, music, even cache that alot of programs use. Is $20 worth the speed jump from class 2 to class 6? I don't transfer much from a PC but hoping to increase speed of the gallery and when the phone reads the cache.
