I'm patient. I "only" have a 4 gb in my Hero now. It's not even close to maxed out.

might be waiting awhile. I saw that the same 16gb class 2 card I bought a year ago has barely gone down any in pricing on newegg.

i wonder if they're going to introduce some higher class 32gb cards. the one that is out is only class 2 right?

after reading reviews of a couple of their other cards, not so sure it's a good deal. some reviews were saying their full sized cards that were labeled as class 6 were only clocking class 2 speeds and another review said the casings on the full sized cards broke and fell apart sometimes while in a device.

Re: 16GB SDHC card .. who is upgrading there 8?

I'm new to the Android platform so I will ask this... if I get the phone with the regular 8gig card then later want to upgrade to the 16 or 32 gig card, can I just pop that into my PC and copy from one card to another (fat, fat32 format) or are the cards formatted in a linux format that will keep me from just copying them over easily on a windows PC?

All you have to do is copy the info from one card to another. If you root the phone, and use Apps2SD, the process is a little more complicated (not much). But, for a stock phone, just copy the files to the new card. You may want to format the new card using your phone, and then transfer the files over, just to be safe.
