Phantom skinz and wrapsol seem to fit the bill. I don't have experience with either but I'm also looking for one like you. I've used zagg & bse and its time to look for something else.

Re: EVO Screen Protectors Thread

the non sticky ones are nice and smooth but those tend to get those hair like scratches on them over time ... the very fine scratches that u can see when the screen is off .. with zagg u don't get those scratches do to the rubber texture and i have read that over the time the orange peel feeling is not as bad .. gets smoother over time .. guessing from the oils from your face

Re: EVO Screen Protectors Thread

I had a ZAGG screen protector on my Touch Pro. I never really noticed it getting yellow but when I took it off after a year (had to replace the phone) it did have a yellow tint to it. The nice thing about it is that they will replace it for life so if it yellows after 6 months just have them send a new one. I think there was like a $3 shipping fee and you have to send the old one back within 30 days after they send the new one.

I ordered one already for my new EVO and they were nice enough to email me today with two 25% off discount codes. If anyone wants them (they are one time use only and first come first server)...here they are:

use this link: http://bit.ly/9aEwKX
Use one of these two codes:
is6sfa4p
isbsfas9

If you use one of the codes, please post that you have used it so others will know when both have been used.

I completely agree with your complaints about zagg. I removed my zagg shield from my TP2 for that reason. I read a review about steinheil's crystal clear protector and bought one and it was perfect. You cant even tell a screen protector is on the phone. I dont see the HTC EVO protector available for sale yet, www.sgpstore.com but I have sent them an inquiry and hope that it goes up for sale soon. Another added bonus is that they come with 2 protectors rather than 1 so if you mess up badly installing it you can just use the other.

Re: EVO Screen Protectors Thread

Google it. There are a ton of comparisons and reviews on sites and forums on most protectors out there.

ive watched 8 videos on youtube and nobody ever mentions the feel of the film... they just say "it feels great"... great is different from user to user... Thats why I try to ask very specific questions... But so far phantom skinz is the only webiste that actually says on the site "Not rubbery or tacky feeling like imitators" i can only assume that this means it wont feel like zagg. So unless I can actually find a user who says I use "_____" and its not sticky at all. I'm gonna order phantom today when I get back from work.

I did indeed say that I use steinheil's crystal clear screen protector after throwing out my zagg for that exact reason. steinheil has a very smooth feeling to it and I cannot even tell that it is there. (www.sgpstore.com) I don't see the protector available for the Evo yet tho. Is Phantom skinz available for the Evo? I kind of want my screen protector in time or very close to launch date.
