What media player do you use? I personally use Media Player Classic (not to be confused with windows media player)..I go to File->Properties->Details:

Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 864x480 (432:241) 23.98fps [Video]
Audio: AAC 44100Hz stereo [Audio]

That gives me the info..

Now as for A-Data or Transend it doesn't matter too much..the only thing you gotta look out for is that you buy from a reputable buyer..some places sell cards that did not pass the QC thus are worse quality.

ok thanks, its no big deal... I just use regular windows media player...

I have a transcend card now but in one of the other forums they were saying that A-data is best... im gonna order from amazon, newegg or tiger direct.... I was gonna get a class 6/ 16gb card until i leared about class 10... now i gotta see if it makes sense to get the more expensive class 10 card. what do you think?

I detailed the info in post #14 of this thread...Remember that class is the minimum speed. So for most applications a class 6 is more then enough..mostly on a cellphone..unless you plan to bit torrent + run some process is background while watching a video..but I think you would be limited by the CPU before you get limited by the speed of the card in that scenario.

Class 10 starts making more sense once we get those 15 mega-pixel cameras or something >.>

Also note most providers offer lifetime warranties on sd cards..due to their fail rates being extremely low

Class 6 is more then enough for this kind of processing..or do you have your heart set on that class 10 card? lol

When your cellphone starts doing 1080p is when you should start looking at class 10 and above.

My area does not have 4G yet..which is the #1 reason I want the phone since I tether/travel a lot. So for now I am gonna see what samsung has to offer till they light up NY with 4G.
