I asked them about that, and the web pic Is a pre-release design. The full release design will have a cut out for It. So no worries. ;)

Anyone like the Seido cases. They have one innocase II but it's 29.95. They make a snap one for the iphone for 19.95 but for EVO it only shows this 29.95 Innocase II one but I can't tell if the camera is covered on this one or not in the front.
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/csr3hev4-pr.htm

But another person said they like these and there good but I don't know if I want to spend 30 bucks. But I may.

Last I knew Otter box wasn't making one yet. I have the same issue with Body Glove as well.

Just in case you don't feel like spending $30+ on a carrying case like I do not or if you just want to have a backup one for cheap that you know you will have in time for June 4th then check out eforcity.

http://www.eforcity.com/universal-ce...rry-cases.html

I ordered a horizontal leather case for my touch pro 2 from there and it has treated me excellent, so I decided to order the Horizontal Leather Case for Samsung Instinct / LG Xenon / Vu, Black for my EVO and its only 5 bucks so if I find a better one at the sprint store on June 4th its no biggie. Again I think this is a good idea since HTC will not be providing us a case in the box. I know the specs of the case arent an exact match but I think it will work fine anyways. Just thought I'd share.

^^ Totally agree with gaudet41, got a case listed for an HD2 for $4 off ebay... I was concerned when i first saw it cause it didnt seem like the one shown, but it fits pretty nice, and with some time to wear it in will do what I want.

This seems like a pretty sweet looking case, and different colors to choose from as well. Buuuut, as far as the reliability and protection of your device goes, I know nothing about these guys.

Just sucks that all the body cases I've seen online dont ship until a week or so AFTER I'll have the phone... I want some type of day one protection....

Im not a fan of putting cases on my phone, but i would like something to protect that camera lens.. i might have to use clear tape for the time being, its gonna ruin my pics

I just called body glove and asked about the cases for the EVO... he looked at an email from May that showed all the upcoming cases and the EVO wasn't on there. He then said that after the first week in June they get a new email with the new upcoming devices and it should be on there.

He did know what I was talking about, I also referred to the pictures of the Body Glove cases for the EVO and he went online and looked at them. They are a go, but most likely not until mid-June.

Bummer.

I almost wouldn't mind paying $25 for the Body Glove, but $15 for the silicone skins? No thanks. I'll get one from eBay, for ~$5.

Re: Evo cases

yeah i hear that but i want my shiz like now, so on the 4th i'll pay a lousy 15 for it... maybe the shack will get em and i can use my free 20 bones.

Re: Evo cases

hell yeah tokuz...5 bux seems about right. We just gotta protect our ish for that wk or 2...g luck and let's be careful

and I remember getting my sedio case for the mogul and I hated it bc it made my phone bulky. MOREOVER, those hard rubberized cases take some of the paint/surface off of ur phone when u take them off. Yes, they indeed actually damage your phone!

That body gaurd does look mighty hard, however.

Re: Evo cases

I know and my Sprint store said they should have accessories on the 4th. I see the Jawbone Icon here and I bought it today from BB cause I had a 15 dollar off coupon. But I could of gotten it for 25% off with Sprint if the store has it. But I really hope they have accessories on the 4th. But I want the car kit and the pink gel case. Amzers are 10 bucks but I heard one person say they rip and our cheap and there's won't be out on the 4th. The body glove cover is cool too.

I've been hearing different views on this matter, but I think I'd rather listen to actual phone experts(ppcgeeks) on this one. I've been concerned about the magnet closure cases, and how they could possibly disrupt the electronics in my smartphone. I've been looking for snap closure cases lately, but really unsuccessful. However, I'm willing to use a magnet case IF someone provides a good argument of how magnets affect the phone, and if they're safe or not. Please Help! here are my options... one's magnetic (HTC), and the other is not (DLO).

You know, Im going to have to get used to it, I've been using a Mogul case on my TP2 and there alot of open space to push up my phone.

With the htcPEDIA pouch, it is a little more tight than usual.

FYI, the RocketFish large universal case at Best Buy fits the EVO like it was made for it. No extra slack but not tight at all, the phone comes right up to where the flap is but you don't have to stretch the flap at all, it really is a 100% perfect fit. Magnet closure too. My only gripe is that the swivel belt clip is a touch loose, but it's not horrible. $19.99, so price could be worse, but it is certainly more than the $10 eBay options I was looking at. Figured that this one fit so well that it was worth the extra $10 to not have to gamble on the eBay cases and maybe end up buying a couple because the first one didn't fit well. I did a quick look online and couldn't find it, but the store I went to had a few, and they looked like a regularly stocked item.

Now I just have to decide if I'm going to go the full body protector route (probably XOSkins.com) or just go naked. Don't have a scratch on my Hero after 3 months, HTC seems to be making them very robust lately...

And yes, the pics were taken with my Hero, as the EVO is in the case!

this is the DLO website that I found the picture from www.dlo.com/products/view/HC_iphone_nylon or type in DLZ40002/17 into a search engine and look up pictures/links and you'll find different vendors who sell this case. I think it's intended for the Iphone, and it may or may not fit. I just thought it looked good.

I'm really looking forward to that bodyglove case. It actually has a felt lining on the back(inside) to protect and add a tiny bit more cushion to your phone. I think it's going to be the bees knees.

I bought my evo from someone who attended the google io conference so ive had mine for about three days. Its so frustrating that the sprint store and best buy wont sell me a case for my phone because the release is friday. I feel so paranoid with no screen/body cover on it.

Re: Evo cases

SPRINT had some cases for decent price instore. thers a snap on 2 piece cover with a rubber back and felt on the inside for $25+tax, a complete hard case for $29, and rubber cases in abot 4 colors for $15. i got the one with the rubber back and covers everything except the glass screen for which i have a zagg invisishield on. the case doenst add weight at all it feels, but the only problem is that you have to stick your nails in one corner thats open and pry it apart carefully because it feels liek it would break if you mishandle it when opening
