I received this case yesterday, only a few hours after my I got my Evo (awesome timing on my part I guess :p ) and it fits the Evo very well. It's snug, but I think it should be so that it doesn't fall out of the case. I like this case quite a bit. The top of the evo protrudes about a millimeter above the top of the case.

I bought a body glove... been using it for a few days now. I thought I would see how easily it came off, so I could pull the battery or change the sd card if I needed to. But, after removing it... the phone seemed so much thinner. And looks so good. I am not sure I want to put it back on.

Re: Evo cases

My friend took off my Seidio last night so I could swap out memory cards and he put my screen protector on. He said it looks like it could scratch the side of the phone when taking it on and off. He took it off and my Clarivue protector started lifting a bit and he fixed it and put the case back on and left it on there. So now I am afraid to take it off. I also bought the pink silicone one from Sprint. I want the Otterbox also when it comes out or I like this casemate barely there I saw for the I phone.

Has anybody found a horizontal leather or textile holster case that fits with the Seidio innocase on? I tried some universal ones at different stores this morning but nothing was big enough.

I got the OEM sprint/HTC silicone case at my local sprint store... fitment is just okay, not very snug.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Got a skin for my wife on Sat., fits great except for a little bit on the sides on top where the screen is, little loose. Other than that it is perfect. Like the HTC etched in the back too.

mine is a little loose on the sides, if it was just a bit tighter, it would be fantastic.

on the top, mine fits great...

I do like the HTC logo as well, heh.

Any other feedback on OEM HTC case?

I was going to get one a while back and never did. And there pictures are different now cause in the beginning they had the front camera as being covered up now there is a hole there.I got the Seidio innocase II which I like but it was expensive. I also got a pink skin from Sprint that I don't like too much. It's ok.

Just got back from the Sprint store, bought a black Gel Cover, wow, ~$16 for a cover that I could get online for a lot less.

Seems sprint really had no clue about what to get in stock for the Evo launch. Why did they launch a phone with as much as hype as the Evo and not have any decent accessories in stock?

What a joke. I asked about the charging case and the guy just blinked at me as though he had no clue what I was talking about. Did try to upsell me to a $40 "travel charger" LOL I said no thanks.

Re: Evo cases

just got my EVO and they just received their "body glove" cases...so on a whim, I bought one b/c I knew it would be a while before I went out and ordered one from Seido or went to the local BB to pick up an alternative.

The thing is really tight fit, my only concern is if would start to have wear marks on the phone ie. I had a similar case on my TP one and you can see pressure points from the case...since there isn't a slide out kb on the EVO, I don't think there will be any similar results.

Although it has a pretty hideous back plate, but it does create a nice confident surface so that the phone won't slip out of your hands...also it doesn't make the phone that much thicker...then again I am coming from a TP2 and it makes the EVO feel non existent

Yeah, I tried the OEM Sprint silicone case on at the Sprint store. It was way too loose in my opinion. I ended up getting a body glove. Not sure if I want to keep it or not.

I too had the OEM Sprint case and returned it the next day, it felt very loose on the phone and had a bit of a slick feel to it. My Sedio Innocase II arrived today so I will see how well it fits and will report back with pics once I get home.

sorry, no part number as the area manager literally brought a "white" and a black version while I was getting my contacts switched over.

They came in a "sprint" labeled "box" I'm pretty sure your local Sprint will be caring these soon, if not already

I can't wait until Otterbox. My co worker had a cool one for her I phone. I have the Innocase II I like it. The sprint ink gel one I don't care for but I already opened and threw away my packaging. It was 11 bucks after 25% off.

Here go a couple of hand on reviews for the Innocase Active

here & here... Looks like no holster comes with it but supposedly there is one in the works. There is also a rugged innocase in the works as well.

Not sure if anyone has purchased the Sprint Evo 4G case from their website but here are a few pics of it. It is extremetly high quality and has the htc logo on it.

I find it to be a perfect fit and the phone slips in and out with ease. It also gives full protection around the corners of the phone which is a high risk area to get scratched if the phone drops in the case. I think the magnets could be a little stronger, but it has a superior look, feel, and fit than the other htc case for the EVO I bought on Amazon.

nice.. but what do you think about those magnets.. does it interfere with the screen/electronics?

I think I may have read some articles about the accelerometer in the Diamond/TP threads.

I have this case as well, and I really like it. It fits snug enough, and lets you pull the phone out easily. No issues with the magnet flap either. The first couple of times you put your phone into it, just be sure to push it in all the way and form the sides and bottom of the case to it (like breaking in a new pair of shoes), then the flap will close easily. Otherwise, it may pop open a bit, but not enough to expose your phone.

i just dont like the idea of a leather pouch but should fit.... i think a softer material would be more comfortable for carrying.

skeptikal 06-11-2010 02:40 PM

Re: Evo cases

Hey does that pouch have a flush leather clip on the other side? If so i may have to grab one. I hate that those are so hard to find without a flap on top. Death to the flap!
