Re: **** RELOCKED ****
Procedure:
1. Enter FASTBOOT, and then connect to your computer (FASTBOOT USB will be shown) 2. Open command prompt in your computer 3. Relock your device by typing "fastboot oem lock" (you should know what is this if you HTC-unlock your phone before), the device will reboot. 4. Enter FASTBOOT again (you will see *** RELOCKED ***) 5. Apply the RUU 6. You device will be stocked Note: The device must be relocked in order to apply the RUU.

Re: **** RELOCKED ****
Thanks given, RUU worked for getting update to work, but it still shows "relocked" instead of "locked"
no big deal i guess, unless sprint were to give me slack about it future down the road in the event i need to take it in |

Re: **** RELOCKED ****
Ya, that's how I got it relocked to begin with. But it would go to bootloader and show security warning instead of applying update. That's why I posted here. Did RUU 2.08.651.2 which was the ROM that was already on phone, then did update and it worked, but it still shows as "relocked" I've been regretting the htc unlock shortly after doing it.

Re: **** RELOCKED ****
The HTC lock method leaves a watermark on the boot loader. If you have never rooted your phone, and have HBoot 1.5, it will say "Locked". If you have rooted with HTC's unlock method, it will say "Unlocked". Once you relock it, it will say "Relocked". If, and this is a big if, revolutionary comes up with a S-Off method for the 1.5 boot loader, you might be able to go back to the "Locked" message on your boot loader. But right now, that option doesn't exist.
