phone does not wake up

Just got my 3D 2 days ago. Have the stock rom and not rooted. My phone does not wake up properly, happens once a day at random. Sometimes I get the screen to turn on but I cannot do anything, sometimes screen is black but the buttons have the backlight on and last time, phone showed no sign of life at all. In all the cases, I have to remove battery to recover.

Since you are not rooted I would suggest doing a hard reset since its only been a couple of days ago that you got the phone. Also check out an app called Fast Reboot, it kills a lot of apps everytime you turn on your phone. Hard reset and Fast Reboot both worked for me when I had that issue. However it didn't work for my other phone and the screen eventually just went black and stayed that way but that's a different story so ymmv.

Go into settings/power and turn off fastboot. Use the instructions in the above post too.

Not to hijack this thread but i have been haveing a similar issue. My phone will randomly to go sleep even when im in the middle of using it and it wont wake up unless I pull the battery and turn it back on. I'm currently rooted and using the EVO-NONSENCE 3D v1.3 along with the RCMIX kernal. I tried to use the fast reboot app as reccomended and my screen wouldnt wake up then either. any moe suggestions guys?

I've hard reset including formating of the SD card and installed fastboot but the phone is still shuting itslef down.

Your issue might be that kernel cuz its a sense kernel from what i remember

im still having this issue as well no matter what rom and/or kernal combination i use.
