Exclamation HTC Evo 3D, New improvements??

I currently have an EVO 4g and was thinking of upgrading to the EVO 3D, but i have been hearing and reading so many different answers from people. So i rather hear you guys input.

1) Is the Camera Quality better than the Evo 4G, or the same? How about video quality??

2) Is browsing quicker on the EVO 3D, since its Android 2.3 and has a dual-core processor?

3) What are really the improvements on the EVO 3D? Because all i was told is just the processor and thats it.

Reply asap thanks!!

Re: HTC Evo 3D, New improvements??

I personally think my EVO 4G runs smoother than than the 3D. That being said, the only thing the 3D has going for it over the 4G is it's 1GB ram vs. 512MB ram and its newer adreno graphics chip. Nothing at the moment, not even GB 2.3.3, utilizes it's dual-core capability... until devs and google refresh it's software. So the 3D is only (to me) slighlty faster than the 4G. One thing you might notice if you get one is its resolution. It's crisper and brighter but at the expense of smaller fonts (which can be remedied in settings I hear). It does however display more info on screen.

It's camera IMHO blows chunks against my 4G. Yeah, it takes pics. Yeah they look ok. But the cam on the 4G is better. Hands down. Videos are about the same.

Sense 3.0 is cool and able to apply different skins if that's your bag. All in all, it's a worthy upgrade if your a spec whore and nothing more. I went through two of these devices and decided my 4G was a better choice for me so I'll use my upgrade for another phone in the future.

I'm sure people might disagree with me here but this post is soley my opinion and no animals were harmed in the process.

Like gator352 said he gave you his opinion for what worked for him. You are on Sprint like we all are, you have 30 days to try the phone out and see if it works for you. We can only give you our opinions and what works for us. We may not use our phones like you do so our opinions could mean nothing unless you know for a fact you will use your phone the way we do. So go try it out and let us know what you think but make your own opinion don't rely on us.

It's all about what works for you. I loved my evo 4g and I never had a major problem. My evo 4g was smooth but my 3d is alot smother. Haven't had my 3d lag or slow down 1 time. My evo 4g would lag once in a while. As for the camera, it's about the same with the 3d having slightly better sensor and quicker at taking pictures. The 3d pictures, I finally love them and 3d video is awesome. As far as megapixels, that doesn't really matter. My 3d takes just as good pictures if not better than my evo 4g did. But again, it depends on who and how you use it.
Overall it's a nice upgrade and for me it was worth it. I wouldn't go back to evo now but if I had to give it up I would go back to a rooted evo 4g, that said 3d will be rooted soon which will make this phone even better.
One thing I love about 3d is I have gotten my battery to last longer than on my 4g. For some people that's more than enough incentive to upgrade. Either way, whether you stay with evo or upgrade to 3d they are still good options both.

How is the 4g speaker compare to the 3D?

I can say the 3D suck compare to TP2 speaker!

There is no comparison. Both my EVO 4G's external speakers blows the 3D's (the ones I had anyways) out of the water.

Gotta agree with gator on this one. The speaker on my evo 4g was way better than the 3d. The earpiece is about the same but the speaker is really low. There is a way to fix it but it requires some tweaking. It's just set at a low volume maximum. Hopefully an update will fix this. Sometimes it gets annoying, especially when trying to listen to a game or espn radio.
