Is this normal - updates error

Hello,

I'm new to the update process OTA. I went to settings updates - firmware and it says checking for updates then - the firmware update could not be completed. Please try again. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service. Error code:1233

Is that just a less direct way of saying there are no firmware updates at this time?

No, thats not normal. I just tried and get the standard "No firmware update available"

What firmware version are you currently on?

Re: Is this normal - updates error

Thanks - I ran the updates today and I have the same versions as you have. I was hoping it might help with the reception. I see the bars oscilating like crazy even though there isn't a cloud in the sky. This was the reason the Sprint Diamond had bad battery life. It would constantly be trying to lock onto a signal and the phone would run hot as a result which further caused the rapid decline of the battery. I returned my Diamond pretty quickly so I don't know if they every fixed it.
