Can't make outgoing calls. - Page 2

I had a n issue earlier where I could not get data. I had to hard reset to get data back.

man this sucks! spent hours customizing my htc sense and all the apps. such a great phone when stuff like this happens its not cool and its Friday ready to go out. I know what I will be doing for next few hours.

Edit: lady on the phone refuse to do manual update because it could damage the device and told me you may or may not get data back and outgoing phone call problem might be fixed.

Hard reset was only option.

ok I did hard reset. I did profile update/prl made calls to same people and other same problem. I called someone on att, tmobile and land lines.
it connects but tone or voice.

hard reset still causing that same problem. really disappointed.

Called sprint spoke to nice lady in eastern europe call center sprint made a exchange.

case closed.

Did you do the EVRC-B trick? If so, undo it.

no I did not do that.

Even after hard reset. I did that profile update just to be safe and sync my gmail account so it would restore my contacts. I quickly made a call still same problem. I don't think its network fault because my brother have original evo and no problem.

Keep the battery and the SD Card for the trouble

I think you can get away with keeping the charger & usb cable as well. They just want the actual unit.

just got the email the replacement return pouch and device was ordered.

actually that was my next question asking you guys if I can keep the battery and other accessories. In past I kepy my batteries for tp and tp2. thanks!

I too am experiencing the exact same problem... Just started today and I have had the phone since Tuesday. Its very weird, I will try and call someone and it will just be dead air for about 25 sec then you get a busy signal. Try to call someone else right away and it rings through, hang up call the first person back... same problem.
