POP E-mail Not Checking Automatically

not long after getting the EVO 4G last summer, this happened to me often and it bugged the you-know-what out of me..........then I came across an article about using App Killer to close programs, would cause other apps such as mail to not work properly. So I stopped using App Killer and my problems went away. It is true, I don't like seeing all those apps as they appear to be running in the background but, somehow, parts of them all work together.
