Re: Handcent lag?
Seems like it still lags to me.... Flip-flopping between Go SMS and Handcent and Handcent seems to lag a bit more. (Go SMS has a few of its own issues tho)

Re: Handcent lag?
I converted to Go SMS Pro and never looked back. Handcent was nice but Go SMS is much better and significantly more customizable.

Quote:
When switching between multiple conversations using various methods to launch go sms (ie. Notification bar, desktop icon/widget, recent apps via home button or notification bar quick list) it sometimes uses the previous contacts background in another contacts conversation. If I back out to the main list of conversations and re-enter the convo it corrects itself. This is very problematic because when having multiple conversations it really can confuse you as to who you are currently texting. I primarily use the individual settings as a way to quickly recognize and confirm the person I'm texting at a quick glance when having multiple conversations. Sending the wrong message to the wrong person could potentially have negative social implications. An example of when this issue seems to be most common: I am texting Contact A, after I send a message I return directly to the home screen or another app. Contact B sends a message and I pull down the notification bar and launch go sms, entering the conversation with Contact B. Contact B's threaded conversation however, has Contact A's background. There have also been similar issues with individual notifications reverting randomly back to the general notification. Have you seen any of this? Any suggestions/solutions? I've run across a few weird quirks since I've started using it but so far I have been able to remedy everything except for this. I am in Normal mode, not sure if I need to switch back to Pro mode. If i can get this straightened out I think I will finally say good bye to handcent. |
