Yes, seeing the green light appeases me greatly. It lets me know the phone is fully charged and is operating as expected. Not seeing green light means not 100% charged not operating as it should.

Now that I see this thread I realize I've had my phone since Wednesday and don't think I've even seen 100% lol. I've seen the green light but is at 99%. Weird.

Same here, although last night I plugged it in all night and it wouldn't go over 82%.... The first charge took FOREVER to get to 99. I have it plugged in this morning and it's taking a very long time as well.

Happens to me too. Just unplug and replug it up immediately. After a few minutes it always goes green and 100%.

everything seems good here now. I like the green light jsut for that fact that I know its charged just by glancing at it. Its also nice when something that comes with the phone works. If I bought a new car I'd expect both windshield wipers to work, not just the drivers side.

is it true that you should charge your NEW battery fully 100% which helps prolongs its life? I just received my EVO and making sure battery is well maintained.
