That is not necessary. You really don't have to do anything special as far as charging habits to make sure the battery is well maintained. It's not a bad idea to let the battery drain, recharge to max, then repeat a few times. Just note that your battery life will get better after a week or so of use.

99% and sometimes I get 8hours of usage sometimes I get 4 hours. (with close to same usage)

I thought it was funny that I got the green light and it said that I only had 96% battery. Not too worried, but I do plan to fully exercise the battery (drain till dead then fully charge) from time to time.
