How do I sync my contacts with Google?

Hmmm... When I go to 'People', and switch to the 'Groups' Tab and hit the menu button...the only two options are Add Group and Delete. Also, I'm picking mine up from the Shack, and they can't sync my contacrs over for me. The sales guy was specific about that.

Only one contact shows up, and it's my girl's old cell number.
