Are you talking about Google Sync or Google Calendar sync? I just install Google Calendar sync and thats all I see was the calender updated.

How do I do the Outlook contacts to my 3D phone?

I have been a premier customer, the SERO plans stopped being good for me long ago. I needed more than 500 minutes and if you work a discount and a legacy plan you could get a much better deal than the $50 1250 minute plan. Also, I've noticed if you stay on the cutting edge of phones you can typically upgrade for free or even make money. I just sold my EVO for $250. I only paid $180 shipped for my 3D. Net profit.
Let me guess. You gave up on SERO to get your EVO 4G before Oct 1, 2010, which was the date Sprint announced that they would finally allow SERO customers to upgrade to high end Android phones with just a $10 extra fee. Currently I have my TP2 on the $40/mo SERO Premium plan and never even get close to using 500 minutes of land-line calling. All my other calls are either to or from cell phones and that is unlimited no matter what carrier, as is all data and messaging. Basically unlimited everything for only $40 bucks a month! I'll probably get the 3D soon and pay the $10 extra but I'm still thinking about it.

The Bluetooth transfer option worked like a charm, so easy.

Re: How to Transfer Contacts from Touch Pro2 to Evo 3D

I create another gmail account just for my phone and I put my appointments and contact there and it sync on 3D instantly.

NO more toying with ActiveSycn and installing drivers and only 2 device can be sync with Outlook.

Cloud stuff is sooo cool.

Microsoft, its just too bad.

Re: How to Transfer Contacts from Touch Pro2 to Evo 3D

The other day I had to exchange for another 3D. Walk into the Sprint store to get a new one. Log into my gmail account n bam, all my Contacts and Appointments are back on my new 3D.

Dont do any sync on your PC/Outlook or put anything on Yahoo or Hotmail.

Just put everything on your Gmail and it sync to your phone in 2 sec.

I have also put all my doc and xls on gmail too and use their app.

Example of cloud at work.

BTW, if you have a phone that use SIM, you dont need to do all of this. Just to bad that Sprint is not SIM.

Re: How to Transfer Contacts from Touch Pro2 to Evo 3D

Just had to exchange my phone. Asked a different guy the same quesion. What he suggested is go into gmail on a PC, go to contacts, and delete the ones you don't want sync'd then sync again and wala! It should be fine. I haven't had a chance to mess with it but I don't doubt it will work. Just didn't realize that there was a separate "contacts" section in gmail.
