Wirefly non-sense.

So I ordered 5 lines from wirefly today.

I was assured from the sales rep that I would get the phone if I get the expedited 2 day shipping so i went ahead and did that.
Their website said, Orders placed before 3pm same day shipping so I believed her.(ordered at before 1pm) Went to the confirmation page today and it's still waiting for shipment. WTH? I went to their chat line and they told me it's out of stock... wtf?!?!?!

They don't have the phone in stock and they are getting limited amount Friday and next week.

As you can probably tell by now, I'm very upset... I'm raising hell at wirefly right now...
I'm getting the phone for $130 afte BoA rewards so that's good and it's hard to resist but what the hell...
No eta on delivery... what can I do?

Not much...wirefly can't ship the phone before Friday. At least that was my understanding from the two phones I ordered from them. The people getting their phones today ordered directly from sprint and are Sprint Premier (S|P) customers that probably also paid for expediate shipping.

This is one of the down sides of getting the phone from someone other than the provider. I bought my phones from them as well and got the free shipping. I don't expect to see my phones for another week.

So, I would imagine you will get your phone Saturday depending on how many phones they have and how many orders came before yours.

yea thats what im thinking to since that was a premiere thing with sprint and they do next day shipping regardless long as they got it ....this is why so many people got em early but 3rd party sellers cant start shipping before the 24th the system probably said out of stock because It probably isnt accessible yet but monday or tuesday would be a more reasonible guess.. the frustration kicks in because we are on the outside looking in and cant join the ...I JUST GOT MINE..party...lol yea it sucks

I guess I misread, I thought the OP got overnight shipping.

In my opinion (and experience) getting two day shipping for anything on a Friday is a waste as you will end up getting it the same day usually as you would with normal shipping. Which is why I got the ground (free) shipping for my phones that will ship Friday (hopefully).

It really depends on where it is going, being a friday has no value for ground vs any other day.

The only advantage to ground is if you are in a 1 or 2 day ground from the departure date example if it ships on friday via ground (only Fedex Home Delivery) on a 1 day area you would get it on sat, 2 would be tuesday (HD does not do Mon, 3 day wed, 4 thur, 5 friday)

2 day would be Tuesday anywhere, even if its in an area of 1 day ground, not only cheaper, but faster. They normally dont deliver on Saturdays unless an extra $10.00 is added.

Bleh...when I said "ground" I meant "standard" (I got standard shipping and usually do). Generally, I just assume that if it is "standard" it is going the slow way...in the back of a truck travelling on the ground.

This is what I get for being so obsessed and posting from work not paying full attention to what I am saying (or reading) :P.

with sprint, i believe it was free shipping (and over night too!) I ordered on tuesday and got it on wednesday

I preordered a Evo 3D from wirefly this last weekend. To my surprise I checked the tracking today and it says they shipped it today and I will have it Monday and I got the free shipping. Is anyone else getting it shipped to them a day early?
