Good question I have been curious about this too. I'm gonna call when I get home today and ask. If I recall correctly people who ordered iPhones got them on release date.

I called amazon and I didn't get an answer. the guy on the line said he just didn't know.

Emailed wirefly, and was told it will ship the 24th.

I called wirefly where I ordered my two from and was told it would ship the 24th (target wirless should be the same). I had also called amazon who said the same (except they were on backorder and If I ordered with them it would not ship until the next set came in...sometime in July).

I don't mind waiting a few more days if it means saving a good deal of money (lower prices online, no taxes, etc). Probably saved about $100 between my two phones, not to mention that I still need to call for that $70 loyalty credit.
