Re: 100% confirmed EVO3d on sale June 24th from sprint
Yay - quick q. I thought that it takes $50 off the phone right away but when I'm trying through bank of america's link, it shows $179.99 still. Is this right? How does this deduction work?

Re: 100% confirmed EVO3d on sale June 24th from sprint
There really is no deduction. The way it works is they charge you the price of 179.99 and in your BofA add it up site they will refund you the $50. More or less like a rebate without all of the hassle and sending in paperwork. Everything is automated. You make the purchase, making sure that you log in through the link of the BofA add it up website. When you put the phone in the cart just make sure that the $50 off from add it up is reflected in the cart. When all is done you just sit and wait for BofA to put the $50 back into your add it up statement and you can then claim your $50. This could take days to weeks because I am not sure if they are going to bill us now, or when they ship the phone. I've used the service in the past on smaller items so I am confident they will pay me back my $50 for this purchase. It really is just a matter of waiting. Unlike a rebate however, if it doesn't come back to my account I can call the bank directly and resolve any issues. With most traditional mail in rebates (which I really try and avoid), if you don't see it, usually it means that it is not coming.

yay - thanks for getting back to me.
One more question. Is this per phone or per transaction? Because I'm planning to do 4 line upgrade. :/ |

Here is the fine print on add it up website: Retailer Exclusions To be eligible to receive cash back and discounts, must use a Bank of America debit or credit card registered in the Add It UpĀ® program when making a purchase. Must sign up for a new 2 year service plan or contract extension to earn cash back. No other transactions or products, including accessories, pre-paid phones, and/or netbooks are eligible to earn cash back. Order must be activated and shipped and not cancelled, returned, or deactivated within the first 59 days to qualify.Must purchase online through this website to qualify or through this toll-free number 1-866-656-5994. It doesn't say anything about combining purchases so I think it will be ok. Don't take my word for it though, this is my opinion on it. |
