evo 3d is still shipping with locked bootloader though... any way to remedy that?

Yeah, a lot of people have confirmed that a simple OTA update, or an RUU update after getting the phone can remedy that situation... and HTC's CEO has been emailing people back saying the EVO 3D is included int he announcement that they won't be locking bootloaders anymore. I think we can be pretty confident that the Evo 3D will be unlocked at ship time or shortly after.

Yeah. I think most of the evo 3d phones will have it unlocked before their shipped. The only problem I see is if there are some evo 3d phones at the stores already but I don't think thats the case since there is still no announcement on a release date. I can't wait. I'll be selling my evo to get the 3d as long as there is confirmation on the unlocked bootloader.
