Do you still have your TP?
Return your EVO... Reactivate your TP and wait till they start taking preorders "oficially". I'm not sure they are doing so yet... And even if they are... Just go over to Best Buy or Radio Shack and place your preorder there.

I have a dying TP2. Should I get the Evo 4G from sprint now (i.e. upgrade with 2 yr contract), and then trade it in (i.e. return the Evo 4G) for the Evo 3D?

I would wait a little while longer poopie... Infobox might be right and Sprint reps might give you a hard time so they don't have to restock EVOs.

Hang on to your TP2 for a wile longer. Unless of course it's something that can be fixed by a simple replacement then get a replacement TP2... Then upgrade. Then sell the TP2.

Thanks for the advice! I was so looking forward to evo3D, but with the lock down and all.....just total BS! I hate my TP2. I'll just grab an optimus s from craigslist in the meantime and wait until someone unlocks the evo3D.
