Very good news indeed... I think Sprint is doing the right thing by competitively pricing this device. This will attract those Tmobile people that don't want to go to ATT. And help retain some of us considering switching carriers.

Sweet. The $499 price is pretty cool. Though if it is priced exactly like the Evo 4G, it should be 449 at Sprint.

199 on contract (449 off)

Either way...I'm going to get it!

Would you all say it will be around $350 new on fleabay maybe a month later after it comes out?

Or you think I should sign a 2 yr contract. I dont mind the 2 yr contract cause I think the $50 a mth SERO is awsome.

I bet those EVO 4g will get even cheaper after this 3D comes cause everyone is dumping it. LOL

Maybe the resale value of the evo will stay the same for a while. They still haven't released gingerbread on it officially and the rooted evos will maintain their value for a while since you can tweak those so many ways. Although now that htc announced that none of their bootloaders will be locked I might buy the evo 3d as soon as it comes out.
