I found a little bit more information on this whole spectrum thing and from what I understand Sprint is going to kill its Nextel iden network and use that spectrum (the 800mhz one we are discussing here) and convert it to cdma. This is why the Sprint coverage will be better and only newer phones like the EVO3d and later new phones that have a radio that will be able to interact with that frequency will have better coverage.

Can anyone confirm this for me? Pinkbunniz? Gten? Anyone?

What I don't understand is why they would put it in the EVO3d when they claim they won't be doing the iden to cdma network switch until 2013 heck... By then we will all have the all new EVO 6D with hd this and that (pause for laughter) can anyone confirm this?
