Who's buying the EVO 3D????

it looks like i'll have to be getting a evo 3d since my tp2 broke 12 days ago. if i had more time to chose, i might have leaned epic 2 primarily because of the super amoled plus (planned on reading books on this with a black background = none to little power consumption).

guess i'll have to 'settle' for a similar uber phone.

We have no indication of an existence of an Epic 2..there is the Within but its not the Epic 2 as it has no keyboard..The Within should come out in July, so you "might" be within 30 days to choose between the two if you wish to.

It seems like he meant the Galaxy S II... with the mention of the screen and all... is that right ppcgpirate? If you're liking that phone from what you've seen, I'm sure you'll be satisfied if you end up getting the Evo 3D.

well yeah I meant the GS2 but I was secretly hoping the Samsung Within would be a sequel to the epic and come with a qHD SA+ display and a keyboard.

Honestly, I doubt anyone wouldn't be satisfied with the everyday performance of any dual core phones coming out on Sprint. I was joking a bit when I said guess i'd have to settle for an evo3d. it's in the uber class of phones.

According to samsung they were not able to achieve qHD on Super AMOLED yet...maybe in the next generation of Super AMOLED in 2012Q2..the bendable indestructible displays it will be qHD but who knows...

Mostly rumors and inside information. Plus the original SGS started appearing on carriers around july. But there is no official confirmation yet.

It got delayed a bit so it was late..but keep in mind it had a keyboard and a bunch of other stuff. This time around it will be closer to the original in terms of form factor.
