Some standard updates were pushed today via sprint/htc something about widgets and 4G updates... Safe to get or not?

Thank you for keeping up on this and actively adding to/developing it. I never had ROM Updater and I like that you can drop in features that we can decide to take without flashing the ROM itself again.

CleanROM was designed to be a cleaned up Sprint Stock ROM with some features and enhancements! This is not a heavily themed ROM! All HTC and Google Apps are uptdate as of 8/27/2011.
ROM is de-odexed and based on official Sprint RUU 2.08.651.2.

Are the recent apps supposed to be gone from the pulldown drawer/curtain? I am not seeing them on my 2.2 after factory reset from recovery and cache/dalvik cache wipe from recovery.

I'm on:
CleanROM v2. 2
twrp v1.0.3

On 2.2 you should have recent apps. If you dont double check that you downloaded the latest ROM version and just do a dirty flash (flash without wiping anything).

I see what it is now; I installed the honeycomb mod from that guy that made it for 2.1, which made the recent apps go away.
