I installed the transparent mod, and one of the batteries, which stops the curtain only from having the transparent effect... Hmmm... No, you shouldn't be seeing that at all! I tested about 30 of the 60 mods and none of them caused the loss of transparency. The files are not even related, lol!

Can you tell me the specific battery you tried that did this? Also can you try to re-flash the transparent current?

Its not entirely impossible that I hosed a battery mod... It was really really late as you can see by the time on the screenshots!

Quick Lookup added to ROM Updater! I just cant let a reasonable request go un-answered

Remember to Check Now when you launch ROM Updater so it shows up. Refer to post #2 for proper use of ROM Updater!

I redownloaded and reflashed the transparent status bar and it's all working as expected. It could have been a goof on my part somehow (like maybe I was sure I had flashed it, but really hadn't...?) or something funky. If you are still curious, the battery mods I'd flashed were the honeycomb blue overscroll followed by the honeycomb red overscroll.

I tried to reproduce it and couldn't get it to do it again... sooo yeah. lol

Nuf sed! lol

I am sure it was unseen user error. lol

It happens... Wait till you flash ROM A thinking you flashed ROM B and then start the building process over from scratch because you flashed the wrong ROM and didn't get the results you expected.... Then when you are all done rebuilding ROM B again it occurs to you that you flashed the wrong ROM! Never happened to me but I am just saying... lol (yeah, right! lol!)

Just installed the 2 transparent updates from rom updater (pull down menu and apps screen) and they rock however all of my sd shortcut icons reverted back to generic android icons at every restart just like the old htc problem??? Anyone else encounter this?

What fix are you referring to? If you are talking about one of my lockrings that was made for 2.3.3, I can update it to 2.3.4 without the need for a fix. Just ask in my thread.
