Flashing the Recovery

-download PG86IMG-twrp-shooter-1.0.1.zip
-copy the .zip to the root of your sd card
-boot into bootloader without the usb cable connected (adb reboot bootloader)
-you may have to select the bootloader option
-it will scan your sd card, when it finds the PG86IMG, it will prompt you to install
-you now have a custom recovery :)
-power down phone, boot back into bootloader without the cable plugged in
-select the recovery option
-phone will boot into recovery, I strongly suggest doing a nandroid backup!

Anyone got a mirror for this zip?

I did it!

Obviously, all credit to all the developers and OMJ and the video that I used to back me up!

Thank you all! This is great!

You may want to tell people about their antivirus program. I had to turn off my Norton from Comcast because it wiped out the Revolutionary.exe when I tried to run it!

Turned it off and everything went well. Thanks again!

Now, can I remove Bloatware? and how do I do it?

Ok, now I have a question.

I used the CWM recovery not the TWRP one and it worked perfect.

Now I note that Scrosler's ROM says that you have to have the TWRP recovery!!??

How do I fix this if it is indeed a problem.

Thank you!

Now I have TWRP

Thanks Will!

Uncheck fastboot, use something like titanium backup for all bloat. Becareful. You can hose shit!

use something along the lines of TI Back up to really cleanse.

But if your going to do that... Just flash a custom ROM. Why go through the hassle of possibly uninstalling something and soft bricking your phone?

You can freeze them in TB first...then run it that way for a few days...if no issue, "probably" can remove...but USE CARE!
