So far it seems better except this morning it just froze with screen off completely unresponsive except the green notification light was stuck on even after unplugged. After letting it sit I pulled the battery and tried to power it on with no luck. After letting it sit a while longer I did another battery pull and it fired up and is running smoothly. Weird!

Aside from all that wow great improvements! I can't believe how much more snappy and smooth it is. I'm falling in love with my E3D all over again. Thanks for all your work and support! I'm super excited to see what you do with ICS (whenever we get it)

Sidebar: having to pull my battery just now, which frequently is the solution to hacking hiccups, really has me concerned. What the hell are we going to do in those situation with the imbedded batteries it seems like the industry is moving towards?! Would I have just been SOL with the E4GLTE?

when I was first testing the anthrax kernel, I was seeing the same "sleep of death" issue, but I that was on my previous ROM. I haven't had any SOD on this new ROM.

My son has a iPod Touch, there has been a few occasions where I had to power off by just holding down the power button. Not sure if that would work on future phones but I would image there has to be a way.

Hopefully that is the first and last time I'll encounter the SOD lol. Was there a solution to it just in case it comes back or was v2.7 the solution? What are the benefits of this new kernel? Is that where this performance boost is coming from?

Maybe they'll have that little recessed pin hole reset button like old school WinMo phones had.

Hey OMJ, could you include the latest radios in a flashable format?

Thanks for the link. Are the radio updates found there flashable via recovery? That's what I'm looking for.

Ok, I'm dumb. I finally figured out that you can flash the radios via 'Bootloader' not 'Recovery'. So I was able to update the baseband version to .1216.

However, my PRI Version is 1.24_003, which is different than OMJ's screenshot. Any way for me to update this?

Thanks!

I'm completely stumped now. So the radio update seemed to work initially. But was still ghost rebooting. So I took your advice above, wiped and reflashed. I did superwipe, then radios at this point it got stuck after flashing at the HTC screen. (I ended up flashing a few times just trying to get it to boot since the file was still on my sd) I used my tablet to change the name of the radio zip so I could boot to recovery and re-flash the ROM. Got to recovery superwipe again , then ROM, then superwipe again. Still stuck on htc boot. Went to recovery, superwipe, flash ROM and boom everything was fine. This was Sunday. Got through all of yesterday with no problems and STELLAR performance (which is why I don't want to go back to my stable 2.5 nandroid). Then this morning while still on the charger I look over and its going through repetitive boot cycles. I let it do its thing and it just cuts off and is unresponsive except the green charge light again. I did a battery pull and it booted up as normal and seems fine again.

There seems to be some pattern of it going nuts after a nights charge. I really gotta figure this out while on break for the week for work or else I'll have to go back to 2.5 for stability at work . Any ideas or suggestions? I have no clue what I could've done wrong.

umm, I think I went back to Freezas kernel...that was my solution

I don't really stay up to date on kernels, but from what I've read, Anthrax kernels have taken over, no one else can touch em.

I bolded your first issue....superwipe will wipe the ROM, so there's no OS to boot to...

not really sure why you're having the reboot issue, I haven't seen any hiccups at all. Maybe try re-downloading the ROM & flash again.
