I had a problem placing/receiving calls/texts after I rooted. Can you place outgoing calls? When I tried I encountered error 16, and was connected with a Sprint rep that was able to "reset" my connection to the network. It seems sometimes after a hard reset, etc. we can potentially lose security settings.

Anyone got the Market upgrade app? I'm running stock for now but the SHOOTER ROM doesn't upgrade the Market App.

BTW... Anyone tried upgrading the camera app. I've read a few posts about Panorama, HDR, and shutter sounds.. I don't have any of those options right now. Does the ROM need to be deodexed in order for the camera upgrade to work?

for the ppl who ran the updates with out being rooted and are now 2.08 is there a full root option yet are am i still SOL?

When you say "ran the updates without being rooted" do you mean; OTA update w/ no S-OFF -> HTC unlock method -> curse yourself for moving too fast -> Root (s-on stays on)/install clockwork recovery (only one I think that works if you've followed my fail steps)

If so then then no I dont think there is a full root option, therefore you cannot use OMJ's 2.1 version as the kernel change borks things up.

That all being said, OMJ would you be able, in your next update be able to release a version of your rom w/ the stock kernel unmodified?

I prefer not to upload 2 ROM, but I'll make a flash zip for the stock unmodified kernel

next update will include dual-core support

Another reboot did fix my Market issue. Last remaining issue: The GPS quick start button (where there are separate buttons for WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth, and GPS - Sorry, don't know what these are called officially). The GPS button makes Sense reboot. If I go to "Location" under settings, I can turn GPS off and on just fine. The quick shortcut button is hosed for some reason (at least on my install). Thanks!

OOp, looks like it might not be necessary. For whatever reason people who used the HTC unlock can flash kernels w/ Fastboot

In the post the guy states that he removed the kernel from whatever rom he was using, flashed it with fastboot. Hopefully a bit more elaboration comes out for us mouth breathing noobs.

I can toggle the GPS widget w/o any crashing.....maybe a bad flash?
