Re: Battery
It gets a little better once the newness wears off and you start putting the phone down. I imagine others will chime in with an app suggestion, a kernel that's undervolted, or use setcpu to manage the processor speeds, but realistically you're going to get 3-4 hours of solid use no matter what you do.
If the battery isn't making it through the day, check to see what's automatically syncing. I have google set to sync mail, contacts and calendar, and another email account updates every hour (default is every 15 minutes). Everything else is set to manual. I tried everything else, and that's the only thing that made a noticeable difference. |

Re: Battery
Ok, so I will retract much of what I said. I did end up getting superpower from chainfire and I unplugged my phone last night at 830. I've had moderate use out of it since, and I'm at a little over 1/3 left on the battery gauge. So I highly recommend this to anyone looking to save power.

Re: Battery
I flashed to CM7 after 5 months of working up the courage to root my phone (seems so silly, now). Without all the VZW bloat, my battery life improved 300%.
I still carry a spare, they're like $10 on amazon. Battery life was my biggest gripe after switching from TP2. Now, it's all gravy. |

Re: Battery
My TP2's speakers are half way blown I've pretty much set my mind on the Inc.
Do you suggest it? And how is the rooting? Difficulty and what not. I ordered 2 1500mah batteries and a dock charger from ebay for my tp2, the batteries fit in the Inc. CorrecT? Last edited by XxQuikSh0txX; 05-24-2011 at 11:41 PM. |
