Unfortunatley don't count on it. I ordered mine on 5/7 and it just shipped today. (They charged me the day I ordered it) Maybe you'll get lucky though...

Verizon replaced my TP2 with an Incredible after 4 faulty devices. Called on Sunday (5/23) and they said it would be sent out today (5/24). They said it should arrive by Wednesday by 7pm at the latest. Hopefully they are actually shipping it and not putting me on some waiting list..

I guess that means that mine (ordered the 12th) won't ship until Thursday, getting it to me on Saturday (I'm in Michigan). Great. I will be out of town from Friday afternoon until Monday. Another week of waiting!!!:an gry2:

Hey guys- I've got a few updates that should help.

I've ordered my phone on May 13 in the AM through telesales. I have been following a thread on AndroidForums.com. People have been posting their location, order date & and received date as opposed to the garbage Verizon has been reading off of a screen for a 'status'. It looks like the midwest and west coast are 1-3 days behind the east coast for shipping notifications. I ordered mine on the 13th, live in MA and received my shipping notification about 30 minutes ago and the phone will be shipping out of PA. Other people in the midwest and on the west coast are just not reporting to receive notifications who have ordered on the 10th-11th.
By trend- east coast should be receiving their 10-13th orders by friday whereas the midwest/west coast will be receiving their 9-11th orders by friday.

Thanks Anothen. I saw that same thread - looks like the PA distribution warehouse is a few days ahead of the Memphis one at least. The Midwest keeps getting dissed!

Rant starts now:

So my TP2's charging port stopped working on me. I called Verizon customer service, and through some work of God, I got them to agree to ship me a brand new Droid Incredible, while I get to keep my TP2.

The person on the phone said that it would be sent out 5/24 and should arrive no later than 5/26 (today) at 7pm. I knew they were backed up, but since the tech on the phone said it would be here Wednesday, I planned around it being here Wednesday.

Today is Wednesday. I called Verizon last night to see if a tracking number was available, yet they "could not find one".

I just got off the phone with a Verizon representative, telling me that my phone is not even sent out, and WILL NOT be sent out until the end of next week AT THE EARLIEST. Boy am I livid.

Verizon made a promise and guaranteed that it would be here today and now they are going back on it saying it won't even ship out for another week. WTF.

They offered me a "loner", phone but I don't want a POS they give me. I want the Incredible they promised me.

End of Rant.
