Root is coming but with all the apps you have available i don't see it being a necessity unless you want to do something like Wifi hotspot or capture screenshots directly without a PC and maybe a few other perks the speed is superb and the camera on the device is very good for a mobile "quick take a shot" moment

the mobile hotspot is the biggest deal to me just because of the work travel i do occasionally... but if root is coming then i dont mind waiting...

so this is the first time ill be switching android phones, i understand when i setup my gmail account all the calendar and contact stuff syncs to the new phone, but what else does?
do the app sync over (i had a lot on my droid and cant remember what they all were) since some of the app data was stored to the memory card that i will be reusing, should i bother cleaning the memory card first? how about the apps i paid for, will i be able to re-download them for free? thanx for the help -Danny |
