I got my Droid Incredible Today - Page 6

Oh...I'm 100% certain it will be rooted....maybe not within the first month, but I don't think it will be too long before someone does, as I posted in another thread:

The Desire has been rooted, and it has been noted as being about as close to the Incredible as you can get.

So I feel pretty confident in saying it isn't a matter of if, but when the Incredible gets rooted!!!

(I waited for about 1/2 a year for the Omnia's GPS to me unlocked, I think I can wait for a root LOL!!!!

I'm sure you are right about the rooting and I don't think we will ever dump this device and go back to our old phones , it has too many possibilities.

agreed...i don't think i'll ever go back to winmo6.x.x. i'd be willing to give wp7 i try only because i am already integrated with zune and xbox 360, so it would be nice to have a phone that went with all that. however i think i will be keeping the incredible for a while, at least a year hopefully longer...thats the plan at leat. i have no intention of being an early adopter of wp7. plus i think the specs of the incredible will allow it to keep up with any new software that comes out in the future for quite some time.

all i know is thursday can't possibly come sooner, haha

They are already talking about testing roms over at xda.

Just read on GIZMODO that there will be no N 1 on vzw , according to GOOGLE.

The threads sound promising (keeping VERY close track) but nothing yet, they did mention it will be a bit harder than they expected, but they remain very optimistic.

I wish you guys would post some bad stuff about this phone so that I'm not so jealous. I can't say that I don't love my MotoDroid though.

no phone is perfect. and so far this has been mostly hype talk on our end. i am sure once we all have the phone issues will pop up. i just hope they are software issues, not hardware issues. in fact, i hope i am completely wrong and that this phone is perfect, haha...
