battery compatibility

I have seen a lot of people stating that they are able to use different batteries with there incredible.

can you guys post to this thread what batteries fit, that way myself and others dont have to hunt through the forum trying to find out?

I wouldnt mind having an extra battery for the phone, especially if I can buy a used one from someone who broke there phone and doesnt need it any more....

thanx
Danny

I am using two batts from my Imagio , a 1500 mAh batt and a 1750 mAh batt . They both fit fine and have not had a problem with them in two weeks plus having the phone. The 1750 mAh ia Seidio and the 1500 mAh is a PCD.

Re: battery compatibility

I have never used the (red) battery that came with the Incredible. I have been using the TP2 battery since I got the phone with no problems.

Re: battery compatibility

I've been using the 1500mAH batteries from my Touch Pro 2. It's a tad thicker, but fits just fine with the stock cover... Also, my after market battery charger from my Touch pro 2 works with the battery from my Incredible too. It's a stand alone charger with an additional USB port on it so you can charge any USB device (Incredible, Touch Pro 2 etc...) and an extra battery at the same time. I got I on eBay a ways back for only a couple of bucks.

Too bad my cradle charger does not work. It will need some modifications

Re: battery compatibility

Hmm, touch pro 2 battery wouldn't work for me. It was a tight fit, battery cover did not want to go back on, had to really press it down hard. Once it was in, phone wouldn't power on, and when charger was connected, the orange led started flashing... Scared the heck outta me.

Did i miss something? This was an oem stock battery by the way.

Re: battery compatibility

I just bought this battery from ebay, it is from Hong Kong so I have no clue how good it is, but for 10.00 I will take a chance especially if it fits under the stock cover. once I get it I will give an update on how it fits and how long it lasts.

Re: battery compatibility

Go to ebay and type in htc incredible battery charger.
There will be a item that comes with 2 1500mah batteries and a standalone charger.
It goes for about 10-15 dollars.
You can also search for a 14 piece accessory kit for about 36-40 dollars and you can get the following which I did:
3 screen protectors
2 capacitive styli
2 1500 mah batteries
1 desktop charger
1 black silicone case
1 clear silicone case
1 leather case
1 Data Cable (USB)
1 Car charger
and something else that I forget
