Live Wallpapers on Eris

I have a Droid Eris running 2.1, but im not sure if it's the leaked version. Its flashed to cricket and I had someone else do it. I want to get live wallpapers and Ive found a way to do this but it requires me to boot into recovery mode. If I do this, will I have to reflash the phone??

1. Copy the zip file you downloaded to your SD Card.
2. Boot your HTC Droid Eris into recovery mode.
3. When prompted select flash from [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]zip[/COLOR][/COLOR] and pick the lwpupdate.zip file.
4. Your phone will then reboot.
5. Once your device restart, go to [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]Applications[/COLOR][/COLOR] then select Manage Applications and HTC Sense.
6. Select Clear Defaults and go back to the Home screen.
7. Press the menu button and select Wallpapers.
8. Pick Live Wallpapers and select the [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]Nexus[/COLOR][/COLOR]
   wallpaper which is the Nexus One wallpaper.
9. The wallpaper will take a few seconds to load, enjoy!
